Indicated to hand-rear those parrot species that need low fat diets. It contains stable high oleic oil, suitable for their needs. It also contains papaya which favours digestive transit.
It is a follow-on hand-feeding formula that should be used from the moment pin feathers emerge until weaning. For example, in amazon parrots it is used from the 3rd week of life.
It is advisable to prepare the formula with lukewarm water at a concentration of approximately 25 % solids. It is recommended to administer the formula with a soft feeding tube.
For younger animals, it is necessary to use a first-age hand-feeding formula like the Granivorous Psittacine Crop Milk or the Granivorous Neonatal Hand Feeding (depending on the age of the chick).
At weaning switch progressively to Omega or High Protein Breeding.
